Sanity is Strange

I have always been into electronic music. Those that actually read my blog posts also know that I have a new found interest in pursuing this further. I am finding myself looking for more information and history in this vast world of electronic music. I found this through my friends in the electronic music room on Friendfeed.com

This image shows most if not all genres and sub-genres of electronic music and if you know anything about the history of the music it is rather interesting to see how new types of music spawned from some of the older forms. I also find it interesting how some of the older forms such as house and techno have been influenced but the types of music that they spawned. It seems as though the lines get blurred more and more and I think that is what is exciting about performing with this music either through Djing or producing tracks or remixing existing tracks.
